An Introduction to the Exhibition

2014 is known as “the first year of cross-border e-commerce”. In order to demonstrate the industrial leading position of cross-border e-commerce in Guangzhou, China International Industrial Alliance of Cross-border E-commerce and Guangzhou Industrial Association of Cross-border E-commerce organized and sponsored China (Guangzhou) International Cross-border E-commerce Exhibition and the Summit Forum in 2016, hence the “ICEE” and “ICEF” came into being. Meanwhile, it has started the “First Five-Year Plan” of the ICEE Cross-Border E-commerce Expo.
 
ICEE China (Guangzhou) International Cross-border E-commerce Expo, along with ICEF China International Cross-border E-commerce Summit Forum held the same time, is the first professional e-commerce exhibition of all categories in China with cross-border e-commerce as the theme. After five years of hard work, ICEE, carrying forward its independent market operation, closely follows the national policy orientation for constant innovation to organize overseas markets by establishing CICEA China International Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Alliance, and established overseas liaison centers of the Alliance in Japan, South Korea, Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, New Zealand and other countries. It has broken through cross-border import and export trade barriers, introduced top quality imported commodities into China, and assisted domestic exporters to cross borders for business operation. Since the successful sponsorship, ICEE Cross-border E-commerce Expo has kept innovation of themes of 2-3 exhibition categories per exhibition and has received more than 2100 domestic and overseas participants, with 200000 visitors from professional buyers, and participant enterprises covering 23 industries and service organizations, which helps establish an advantageous position among industrial leaders of the ICEE Cross-border E-commerce Expo.
After the year of 2020 filled with the “Black Swan”, this year, ICEE/ICEF will ride the wind and start its journey to greet the “Second Five-Year Plan”. Redefining brand degrees and industrial dimensions, the Expo will be changed into and incubate a themed exhibition with 6 brands. It is estimated that there will be more than 800 manufacturers present at the Expo covering an exhibition area of 40,000 square meters. 2021 ICEE/ICEF the Sixth China (Guangzhou) International Cross-border E-commerce Expo and Summit Forum will be held as scheduled. 
In the corresponding period, the forum’s supporting activity composed of 1000 persons will also be held, with industrial leaders to be invited for support, including government leaders from Guangdong Customs Office and Guangdong Administration for Inspection and Quarantine, who will jointly discuss about the subjects such as a new orientation of cross-border e-commerce under an open world’s economic condition. This will provide enterprises from the cross-border e-commerce industry a platform for exchange and communication to further develop cooperation.

History of Expos

From July 20 to 22, 2016, the first exhibition was held at Poly World Trade Center Exhibition Hall, Pazhou, Guangzhou, with the subject as “A Decisive Battle in Cross-border E-commerce with Victory in Trade”. More than 300 e-commerce giants gathered in Guangzhou, which had attracted 35682 dedicated buyers, 22% of whom came from overseas.
From July 21 to 23, 2017, the second exhibition was held at Poly World Trade Center Exhibition Hall, Pazhou, Guangzhou, with the subject as “Building a New Domain for Cross-border E-commerce at Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”. More than 300 brand manufacturers from more than 20 countries or regions in the world were present at the exhibition. Altogether more than 30000 dedicated buyers and audience from more than 50 countries or regions had been received with more than 200000 online audience.
From July 21 to 23, 2018, the third exhibition was held at Poly World Trade Center Exhibition Hall, Pazhou, Guangzhou, with the subject as “Focusing on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area -- to Turn a New Page of the Belt and Road Initiative”. On the site, 35311 audience in all were received, and there were nearly 950000 audience attracted online.
From July 24 to 26, 2019, the fourth exhibition was held at Poly World Trade Center Exhibition Hall, Pazhou, Guangzhou, with the subject as “Cross-border Worldwide for Universal Win-win”. On the site, 31689 dedicated buyers in all were received, and there were more than 480000 audience attracted online.
From July 24 to 26, 2020, the fifth exhibition was held at Poly World Trade Center Exhibition Hall, Pazhou, Guangzhou, with the subject as “Building Double Engines for Foreign Trade in Guangdong, Empowering New Motive Force of Brands and Setting Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Models in the Pearl River Delta and Even Nationwide”. On the site, 39600 audience in all were received, and there were more than 480000 audience attracted online.



Themed Exhibition Area Planning for 2022
 
Cross border export commodities exhibition area: to focus on the display of popular products of traditional industry belt factories for export as well as exported cross-border e-commerce platforms, exported cross-border e-commerce service providers and other industry leaders.
Cross border import commodity exhibition area: to focus on the display of international brands, overseas small and medium-sized enterprises, imported supply chains, imported platforms and service providers.
E-commerce Internet technical exhibition area: Based on the vigorous development of the current e-commerce, the exhibitions have established five exhibition areas such as industrial Internet application, Cloud technology, network hardware devices, information acquisition technology and digital factories.
Fast fashion product supply chain exhibition area: It aims to better push forward the development of industry-wide fast fashion and cross-border e-commerce, to integrate advantageous resources, to combine advantages in industrial belt areas, to promote trans-trade point-to-point connection and to build one-stop display trading platforms for the fast fashion cross-border e-commerce industry.
Cross-border service trade exhibition area: based on the development of cross-border foreign trade new format, and in the light of traditional cross-border service trade, it covers all kinds of service formats along the international trade industrial chain.
Public health service exhibition area: The industry has become more and more subdivided. The exhibition area mainly displays industrial achievements in a centralized manner to make efforts to promote the development of industrial technologies, to improve product quality and push forward the healthy development of the industry.
E-commerce logistics and packaging exhibition area: It mainly displays cross-border e-commerce, cross-border logistics and packaging equipment and service providers participating in post-market entire chains.
High-end equipment and service exhibition area: to collect domestic and overseas development status and future trend of the industry jointly discussed about by competent government authorities and enterprises along the entire industrial chain by means of exhibition through dialog and exchange activities, and to seek for the best partners.

 
 


Highlights in 2022 Exhibition
The exhibition aims at internationalization, specialization and high-end operation focusing on the trend of cross-border e-commerce in China and the open world economy. Online + offline display, traditional foreign trade and cross-border e-commerce complement each other to build a bridge between Guangdong manufacturing and Global trade.
1. Building innovative online exhibition platforms: mainly consist of cross-border product agents, traders, 020 enterprises, cross-border logistics, product selection service and comprehensive service enterprises, especially the introduction of high-quality imported products from North America, Europe, South America, Japan, Australia and South Korea.
2. Integration of world famous cross-border e-commerce platforms: Five exhibitions have been held successfully, which have attracted participation by domestic and overseas famous platforms, including Amazon, Alibaba International, Alibaba 1688, Vipshop, Jingdong, eBay, Wish, Shopee, Lazada, AliExpress, Dhgate, Miniso, Buy Together, UNKA, Daraz, PaytmMall, yMatou, The Onion, ESG, Bang good, Youzan and YANDEX.
3. Export cross-border electric business selection exhibition area: It attracts the favor of export industry belt from bags, leather goods, clothing and 3C in the province to form a special exhibition area dedicated to the building of the authoritative brands of Internet plus foreign trade exhibition as well as new formats of exhibition of the platforms connecting the cooperation in global Internet business ecology.
4. Cross border e-commerce supply chains: The exhibition covers platform construction, main body cultivation, agglomeration development, logistics, service system construction, source channels, etc., and will systematically support the development of cross-border e-commerce industry in a “full chain” manner.
5. Government industrial endorsement has been highly concerned and supported by various government authorities: The exhibition has been strongly supported by Guangdong Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce and other government authorities as well as more than 100 trade associations, which take an active part in helping international publicity and inviting professional purchasers.
6. Six brand theme exhibitions of fission Incubation: The “cross industry” of the exhibition covers platform construction, main body cultivation, cluster development, logistics, service system construction, supply channels, etc, which will systematically and the development of cross-border e-commerce industry in a “full chain” manner.
